TERMS & CONDITIONS

Your contract is with Breath and Being OÜ, trading as Wild Quiet Adventures, registry code 17187681, Narva mnt 5, Tallinn 10117, Estonia. support [at] breathbeing [dot] com. In these terms, "we" means Breath and Being OÜ and "you" means the guest booking a place.

Our retreats are package travel under the EU Package Travel Directive and the Estonian Tourism Act. This means:
  • we are fully responsible for delivering every service included in your retreat;
  • your payments are protected if we become insolvent, through [name of guarantor], registered with the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (TTJA) under registration number [number];
  • before you book, you receive the standard information form required by law, which summarises your rights.

Flights are not part of the package. You book them yourself.

1. Who you're booking with

  1. Apply. You fill in the application for the retreat you'd like to join. We read every one, to make sure the group feels right for everyone.
  2. We reply. If there's a place for you, we send you the trip details, these terms and the information form.
  3. Secure your place. Your booking is confirmed, and the contract between us begins, when we receive your deposit and send you a written confirmation.
  4. Health form. After confirmation, we send you a short health form (see section 5).

How booking works

Because our retreats are travel services on fixed dates, the general 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply. You can still cancel at any time under section 4.

No 14-day right of withdrawal

Each retreat page lists its price and exactly what is included. As a rule, we include your accommodation, as many meals as possible, airport transfers on the arrival and departure days, all ceremonies and breathwork sessions, and the excursions listed in the itinerary.

Not included: flights, travel insurance, visa costs, alcohol unless stated, personal spending and souvenirs.

2. Prices and Payment

What's included

  • Deposit: €500 to secure your place. The deposit is part of the total price, not an extra fee.
  • Balance: the full balance is due 30 days before the retreat starts.
  • Payment plan: you can spread the balance over up to 4 installments, as long as the last one is paid 30 days before the retreat.
  • Late bookings: if you book less than 30 days before the retreat, you pay the full price at booking.
  • Methods: card via Stripe, or bank transfer to Breath and Being OÜ. Prices are in USD. Any bank or currency conversion fees on your side are yours.

How to pay

We'll remind you first. If the balance is still unpaid 7 days after the due date, we may treat this as a cancellation by you, and the fees in section 4 apply.

If a payment is missed

Once your booking is confirmed, we only change the price if a cost outside our control rises (for example, fuel, taxes or exchange rates), and never later than 20 days before the retreat. If the increase is more than 8% of the total price, you may cancel and receive a full refund.

Price changes

3. Minimum group size and changes by us

Each retreat needs at least 8 guests to go ahead. We confirm whether the retreat is going ahead no later than 60 days before it starts.

If we don't reach 8 guests and cancel, you receive a full refund of everything you have paid, including your deposit, within 14 days. If you prefer, you can move your booking to another retreat instead. That is always your choice, never a replacement for your refund.

Please don't book non-refundable flights until we have confirmed your retreat in writing. We are not responsible for flights or other arrangements you book before that confirmation.

Minimum of 8 guests

Weather, safety and nature have their own plans. We may make small changes to the itinerary, such as swapping the order of days or replacing an excursion with a similar one. We'll tell you clearly and as early as we can.

If we have to make a significant change before the retreat (for example, a different destination, different dates, or a major change to the accommodation), we will tell you without delay. You can then accept the change, accept an alternative we offer, or cancel and receive a full refund.

Changes to the itinerary

If we have to cancel because of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances (for example, natural disasters, serious safety risks, war or official travel warnings for the destination), we tell you without delay and refund everything you have paid within 14 days. We are not liable for further compensation in that case.

Cancellation for unavoidable circumstances

Life happens, and we get it. You can cancel at any time before the retreat by emailing us at hello [at] wildquietadventures [dot] com. The date we receive your email counts.

The fees below reflect the costs we have already committed to on your behalf, such as venue buyouts and activity bookings, which we usually can't recover.

4. If you need to cancel

We refund any amount due within 14 days of receiving your cancellation.

  • Give your place to someone else. You can transfer your booking to another person who meets the requirements of the retreat. Tell us at least 7 days before the start. You and the new guest are jointly responsible for any unpaid balance and for the actual extra costs, such as name changes with suppliers.
  • Move to another retreat. If you tell us more than 60 days before the start, you can move your booking to another Wild Quiet retreat within 12 months, for an admin fee of [€150], subject to availability. This is possible once per booking.
  • If we refill your place from our waitlist, we refund your payments minus your deposit, whatever the date.

Other options before you cancel

If unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at or near the destination significantly affect the retreat, for example a natural disaster or an official travel warning, you may cancel without a fee and receive a full refund.

Unavoidable circumstances at the destination

Travel insurance with cancellation cover is mandatory. It protects you if you have to cancel for reasons such as illness, which our fees cannot make an exception for.

Travel Insurance

5. Health, safety and your responsibilities

Breathwork and cacao ceremony are gentle for most people, but not for everyone. They are not medical or psychological treatment and do not replace it.

  • You agree to complete our health form honestly and to tell us about any change before the retreat.
  • Breathwork is not suitable during pregnancy, or for people with certain heart conditions, epilepsy, high blood pressure, recent surgery or some mental health conditions. Cacao can interact with certain medications, including some antidepressants. If you're unsure, please check with your doctor before booking.
  • You take part in each session at your own choice and can pause or stop at any time.
  • For your safety and the group's, we may ask you not to take part in a session, or adapt it, if we believe it puts you at risk. This does not entitle you to a refund.

Your Health

Some excursions involve walking, uneven ground, water or horses. Each retreat page states the fitness level needed. You agree to follow the instructions of your hosts and local guides, and to tell us if an activity isn't right for you.

Activities and fitness

Our retreats work because everyone feels safe. We may remove a guest from the retreat, without a refund, if their behaviour seriously disrupts the group, endangers anyone, or breaks the law, including the use of illegal substances. Any extra costs, such as an earlier flight home, are theirs.

Being part of the group

  • A valid passport, any visas, and vaccinations or health documents needed for the destination.
  • Booking your own flights to arrive and depart within the transfer times we give you.
  • Mandatory travel insurance covering cancellation, medical treatment and repatriation. Please send us proof at least 30 days before the retreat.
  • Taking care of the venue. You pay for any damage you cause on purpose or through carelessness.

Your responsibilities

6. Liability, complaints and law

As the organiser, we are responsible for delivering the services included in your retreat, whether we provide them ourselves or through local partners. If something isn't delivered as agreed, we will fix it, offer a suitable alternative, or reduce the price as the law requires.

Except for personal injury, or damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, our liability for damages is limited to three times the total price of your retreat. We are not liable where a problem is caused by you, by a third party unconnected with the retreat, or by unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances. We are not responsible for services you book separately, such as flights or extra activities.

Our responsibility

If something goes wrong, tell your hosts straight away, so we can fix it on the spot. If you're in difficulty during the retreat, we will help you, for example with information on health services or arranging alternative travel.

Help during the retreat

If you're unhappy after the retreat, please write to us at [email]. We reply within 14 days. If we can't agree, you can contact the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon) through the TTJA, or the consumer body in your home country.

Complaints

These terms are governed by Estonian law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
